Ledger and "Supream Court Register" [docket book], 1755-1776.

Ledger, 1755-1776, contains detailed accounts of Benjamin Kissam's clients, family members, and household employees. "Supream Court Register" [docket book] is a record of cases he handled from 1768 to 1775 and includes names of plaintiff and defendant, term in which the case was heard, as well as dates and details about actions taken. As reflected in this register, Kissam's practice was largely commercial transactions.
